Christine is a graduate of St Hilda’s College, Oxford and joined the Oxford law firm Morrell, Peel & Gamlen where she started to specialise in technology law. She was one of the first lawyers in the UK to develop an IT, and later, an e-commerce practice. She is an expert in technology law and advises national and multi-national companies on a wide range of IT related matters. Over the years she has advised companies such as Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Lloyd’s of London, Axa, SEEDA, a number of universities and a wide range of SMEs in various sectors. Christine currently provides the legal secretariat to the Department of Trade and Industry/H.M Treasury sponsored Lambert Working Group on University and Industry Collaborations and is the author of a number of documents including the Model Research Agreements.
