Loan Fund Executive – London

An exciting opportunity to join a young £55 million Loan Fund

We are seeking someone to join us as a Loan Fund Executive to join our team, based in London.

Reporting directly to the Head of Fund, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small team managing a £55m fund which offers loan funding up to £1m to potential high growth small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) within 33 London boroughs.

With the right skills and levels of enthusiasm, the role could lead in time to progression to a junior fund manager.

Principal accountabilities to include:

Supporting the Head of Fund and the team of 3 fund managers in delivering the operational targets of the fund

Initial screening of enquiries, carrying out some research for the fund managers including market analysis, as required

Ensuring that record keeping meets all the requirements of the various stakeholders.

Ensure timely monitoring put in place for portfolio companies

CRM system – both input of information and export of such to generate system reports to be used for reporting to Head of Fund and external stakeholders.  

Co-ordinate monthly and quarterly reporting requirements

Co-ordinate the gathering of information for audit visits

Some event management and co-ordination

Efficient office administration (for team of 4), filing and keeping records up to date

Who are we looking for – Knowledge, skills and experience

This fund is managed under ERDF/EIB requirements. Previous experience in working with ERDF/EIB reporting regulations will be a distinct advantage

You should be:

a confident, self starter, with presence. You will be required to demonstrate good organisational skills and whilst being able to work under your own initiative, be a good team player.

someone with proficient Microsoft office skills especially Excel and Powerpoint, Outlook, Onedrive, and the ability to get to grips quickly with a CRM system and use this to generate reports for the team and stakeholder reporting.

a fluent English speaker with good written ability

someone with a basic understanding of financial accounts

Salary – up to £32,000 depending on experience
